How therapy can help you
First I will explain how each therapy helps, you can find out more further down the page. We will then work together using a combination of hypnotherapy, neuro linguistic programming (NLP) and life coaching along with other therapies.
This will give you the ability to make the changes in your life you want to feel good now. Helping you feel better as you deal with the thoughts and feelings that you can experience after a traumatic life changing event.
Be reassured that you that are not alone and that feeling different to how you do now is inevitable as change is constant.
You will transform as you have done many times before!
These therapies are about helping you change easily and effortlessly. They are all solution focused techniques and have been found to create change relatively quickly and have lasting positive effects. I am here to listen and appreciate how you might be feeling. You are not alone, many others including myself have wanted to make changes to improve their mind, body and make changes in their lives.
A little bit about each therapy and how they work
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy has been in use for thousands of years. It is recognised as a very powerful method for personal transformation. All around the world, people use the power of hypnosis to help them deal with a vast range of problems. It is natural and everyone does experience hypnosis regularly. It is a state of heightened relaxation and altered awareness.
When you are relaxed in this way it is possible to make contact with your unconscious mind, in order to effect change in your life. The unconscious is an untapped resource of creativity. It is the seat of all your emotions and therefore directs nearly all your behaviour. Your unconscious is also responsible for maintaining the body in good health and for all the autonomic processes, such as, breathing, blood circulation and body temperature etc.
Therefore by using hypnosis we can access the doorway to this inner world. The realms of your powerful and creative imagination and emotions. By using hypnosis the unconscious mind can be contacted and your ‘inner power’ can be harnessed to promote desired changes and physical well-being.

BLAST Trauma Reprocessing
The BLAST Technique® has been described as “EMDR on steroids!” It has been created, developed, and refined to work faster and more effectively with PTSD and trauma utilising the brain’s natural processing systems, rather than only using ‘bilateral stimulation’ or being a ‘confusion technique’.
It will help you process what has happened to you and take away the association of worry, anxiety, or anger.
You will be able to think and talk about what happened without the usual response and live a more active and positive life.
Healing past trauma frees you from the impact of old events that are still troubling you. It doesn’t have to have been a major trauma, it can be an emotional or physical shock that causes you to think, feel and behave differently afterwards.
This process helps you stop reliving the event with the full impact of emotions. It reduces hyper-vigilance, will help you sleep better and lessen nightmares, decreases irritability, fear or anger and helps you concentrate and focus.
NLP aka Neuro Linguistic Programming
It was developed in the 1970’s. It’s a quick and effective therapy that helps you live and love life quickly and effortlessly. It breaks negative thought patterns, changing behaviours, improving how you feel, removing fear and setting life-changing goals. I believe that when you change how you think, you’re able to effect change in the way you feel and behave therefore building a more positive outlook for your life.
NLP is based on the assumption that the unconscious mind might be “programmed”. This is much as a computer would be but through the use of language, as well as through images, sounds, and other sensory input. It is concerned with the relationship between the mind/body (neuro). It focuses on communication, including non-verbal, how we describe and categorise our world and to make sense of our experience (linguistic) and the patterns of thought and behaviour that help or hinder us (programming).
Life Coaching
Everyone needs a coach; someone who believes in your abilities, and can also help you set clear life changing goals towards achieving the life you want. Sometimes we limit our potential and ourselves by our thoughts. Many talented people develop the belief that they are destined to remain in their current situation. This is usually the problem. Coaching helps you to break negative belief patterns and set challenging aspirations that are realistic and achievable.

Indian Head Massage
