Description

Many people experience the cardiac blues after a heart attack or heart surgery. They can experience feelings such as anxiety, stress, fear, anger, tearfulness and a sense of loss. They can feel overwhelmed by all the changes that they need to make, betrayed by their body, have difficulty sleeping and concentrating and are set adrift after leaving the hospital.

I will work with you to release the impact of the trauma caused by your event. We will talk about how the neurochemicals and hormones you produce in your brain affect mood and behaviour. How these chemicals in turn link with your thoughts and actions.

Through hypnosis, I will guide you to find your own solutions to get your life back on track feeling positive, confident, motivated and focused. You will gain back control and have a better understanding of yourself and how you can change how you feel about yourself and the events in your life.

Hypnotherapy has been in use for thousands of years. It is recognised as a very powerful method for personal transformation. It is a state of heightened relaxation and altered awareness.

When you are relaxed in this way it is possible to make contact with your unconscious mind, in order to effect change in your thoughts, feelings and behaviour, improving how you feel about life. The unconscious is an untapped resource of creativity. It is the seat of all your emotions and therefore directs nearly all your behaviour.

Through hypnosis, we can access the doorway to this inner world. The realms of your powerful and creative imagination and emotions. By using hypnosis, the unconscious mind can be contacted and your ‘inner power’ can be harnessed to promote desired changes and physical and emotional well-being.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is based on the assumption that the unconscious mind might be “programmed”. Similar to how a computer would be but through the use of language, as well as through images, sounds, and other sensory input. It is concerned with the relationship between the mind and body.

NLP focuses on communication, how we describe and organise our world, make sense of our experience, and the patterns of thought and behaviours that help or hinder.

A combination of Hypnotherapy and NLP can help you change easily and effortlessly. They are both solution-focused techniques and have been found to create change relatively quickly and have lasting positive effects. I am here to listen and appreciate how you might be feeling. You are not alone, many others including myself have wanted to make changes to improve their mind and body and make a difference in their lives.
